03 — Role of the platform
RentCar.mu is a platform connecting travellers with car rental agencies in Mauritius. The publisher acts as a technical intermediary: the rental contract is concluded between the customer and the partner agency, which alone is responsible for its vehicles, their insurance and the compliance of its services. The rental is paid to the agency at vehicle pick-up (any online payments would be handled by a secure provider); the deposit is left with the agency and returned after the vehicle is brought back, unless damage is recorded at the joint inspection.
04 — Intellectual property
All content on the Site (texts, images, graphics, logo, icons, layouts, databases, source code, etc.) is protected by copyright, trademark and database rights. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Saif Golaup, except for strictly private use. Any unauthorised use will be treated as infringement and prosecuted accordingly.
